At Nyth y Deryn, we are dedicated to supporting learners in achieving excellent attendance. We understand the significant impact that consistent attendance has on academic achievement, engagement, and overall social and emotional wellbeing.

While excellence in attendance is our goal, we also acknowledge that each learner’s circumstances are unique, and we take these into account whenever possible.

If your child will be absent or late, please contact the school office by 8:30am on 02920 529 398 (option 2). Alternatively, you can email adminn6@hwbcrymru.net, providing your child's name, the reason for the absence, and the anticipated duration.
